Sri Lanka Destination Promotion Event Held at TÜRSAB Headquarters
Sri Lanka, the prominent destination of the Indian Ocean, which has started to attract attention from Turkish travel lovers in recent years, was introduced to the agencies at TÜRSAB Headquarters. The Sri Lanka Destination Promotion Event was held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, hosted by TÜRSAB and in cooperation with the Sri Lankan Embassy and Jazeera Airways.
100 Thousand Tourists Are Targeted for Sri Lanka in the First Stage
TÜRSAB Vice President Davut Günaydın stated that they aim to send 100 thousand Turkish tourists to Sri Lanka in the first stage with the work they will carry out. He emphasized that tourism will also revive with the development of political and economic relations between Turkey and Sri Lanka. He stated that tourism will increase with Turkish Airlines’ flights to Sri Lanka and Jazeera Airways’ Turkey-Sri Lanka flights.
