Coral Partners Meeting, which took place at the ITB Berlin International Tourism Fair, started with the speech and presentation of Coral Travel Group’s Vice President in charge of the Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region, Koray Çavdır.
Çavdır’s 2024 Vision: 687,130 Tourists and 687,800 Million Euro Turnover Target
In his briefing, he stated that they are one of the fastest growing tour operators in the market with their Coral Travel / Ferien Touristik brands. Çavdır stated that it is aimed to reach 687,130 tourists and a turnover of 687,800 million Euros for 2024.Emphasizing that their target in the medium term is sustainable growth with 1 million tourists and 1 billion Euro turnover, Çavdır stated that the envisaged targets will be achieved with the strong human resources, technological investments of the group, product diversity and wide destination range.
Coral Travel Group’s Road Map: Growth Strategies and Future Plans in Europe with İzzet Etke
Following this, Coral Travel Tour Operator and Aviation, Business Development Senior Director İzzet Etke made statements about the Group’s 2023 results and 2024 plans.
Mr. Etke’s statements stated that Coral Travel Group will continue to grow with the introduction of new markets in Europe and increasing market shares;
Reached 10 Source Markets in Europe
The group; European tour operator activities, which started in Poland, continued with the opening of Germany, Austria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and the Czech Republic, Switzerland and Romania in 2023. With the start of organized holiday sales in the Netherlands, a total of 10 countries in Europe have been reached.
Stating that the strategy is to have a minimum market share of over 10% in the markets they operate in, Etke explained that this rate has reached higher levels in some of the main markets where they have been operating for a long time, and that it is over 20% in Poland.
Coral Travel Expands: Record with 1.6 Million European Tourists in 2023, 2024 Target is 2 Million with a 30% Increase
Coral Travel served 1.6 million European tourists in 2023. In CIS countries (5 countries), this figure was around 1 million. In 2024, the target is to exceed 2 million with a 30% increase in European source markets.
The total number of tourists served by the group in all source markets was announced as 2,720,000 tourists in 2023, and the target for 2024 was 3,240,000 tourists.
Considering the number of destination-based tourists, the top six countries are Turkey, Egypt, Greece, United Arab Emirates, Spain and Tunisia.

Etke shared about strategic plans that started in 2023 and will continue in 2024.

• Expanding the product network with airline integrations,

• He stated that Otium Hotel’s brand under Coral Group Hotels was redesigned and branded with Marvida Hotels, and that the Group will continue to grow with 3 hotel brands.

In the evaluation made by the guests through surveys among all the hotels in the world where the group works,In the “Top 100 World Best Hotels” category Ela Excellence Resort Belek (Türkiye) first place, Mitsis Rinela (Greece) second, Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort (Türkiye) thirdThey received their awards as.
The distribution of the facilities in the top 100 is;There were 58 hotels from Turkey, 12 from Egypt, 10 from Greece, 6 from Spain, 5 from the United Arab Emirates, 4 from Thailand, 2 from the Maldives, 2 from Tunisia and one from Vietnam.
In the “Child Friendly Hotels” category with the best activities for children Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort came first, while Gloria Serenity Resort took first place in the “Environmentally Friendly” hotels category. 25 hotels were awarded in both categories.
Xanadu Resort Hotel Belek came first in the “Coral Family Club Hotels” category, the concept developed by Coral Travel for families with children.
The “Starway World Best Hotels” award ranking was determined by statistical analysis of guest satisfaction surveys received from 6249 hotels in 29 destinations.As a result of these surveys, in which Coral Travel customers evaluated the staff, room and hotel conditions, food and beverage, environmental awareness, garden and pool conditions, cleanliness, children’s areas, entertainment and sports activities, the hotels were analyzed and their rankings were determined, regardless of how many stars they had.
