Cooperation in Railway Connection
Greece and Ukraine, in order to prevent their import-export activities from being interrupted; It was decided to initiate the necessary research for the possibility of implementing a pilot railway connection between Ukraine and Alexandroupoli Port. In addition to this step, the two countries took joint initiatives to strengthen their ties in the fields of tourism and transportation.
Tourism Cooperation and Joint Commission
Within the scope of tourism cooperation between Greece and Ukraine, cooperation opportunities in the fields of tourism and transportation were discussed at the sixth meeting of the Greece – Ukraine Interministerial Joint Working Group, chaired by Greek Minister of Transport Christos Staikouras and Ukrainian Minister of State Oleh Nemchinov. Moreover, at the first session of the Joint Commission on Tourism Cooperation between Greece and Ukraine, the steps to be taken to increase the flow of tourists between the two countries were discussed.
