Talip Aldemir pointed out that Turkey and Georgia, in addition to being neighbors, are also very close culturally; He made the following statements during his speech:

“The bonds of friendship between our countries, which have a trade volume approaching 3 billion dollars, are getting stronger every day. This closeness is also positively reflected in tourism movements. Tourism movements between the two countries are increasing day by day.

While we hosted more than 1.6 million guests from Georgia in our country last year, we see that more than 9 thousand of our citizens visited Georgia. The friendship and trust relationship established between the two countries plays a major role in the increase in these numbers. We predict that tourism movements between the two countries will increase thanks to the opportunity to travel between the two countries with ID.

I would like to emphasize once again that, as TÜRSAB, we are always ready to further develop tourism relations with Georgia.”
