Erdogan Announced: Cukurova International Airport…

Erdoğan: We will use Çukurova for commercial flights and Şakirpaşa for education, disaster relief and security-related work. We are connecting Antalya and Mersin with the 440-kilometer Mediterranean Coastal Road, which shortens the current 83-kilometer route by 43 kilometers. Within the scope of the project, we are building 33 tunnels with a total length of 51.2 kilometers, as well as 77 bridges. When the project is completed, we will hopefully reduce the travel time from 9 hours and 30 minutes to 4 and a half hours. We will connect our Çukurova region to the Middle East and Central Asian countries via sea with the Adana Container Port.
