IST is a major international hub. Helicopter operations can dovetail beautifully with flight arrivals and departures — but only when timing is discussed with realistic buffers, not “movie-logistics”.
Buffers are not wasted time
Terminals, baggage and immigration variability matter. A helicopter plan should respect the fact that some steps are outside anyone’s perfect control. Conservative buffers reduce stress — and often produce a smoother day overall.
What to include in your first message
- Arrival or departure city context (IST vs. other airports)
- Flight times (and airline if helpful)
- Passenger count and luggage expectations
- Whether you want sightseeing, transfer, or both
The goal is alignment: your helicopter timing should feel like a natural continuation of your journey — not a sprint through the terminal.
